Dar Williams (5/30)
One of the most acclaimed singer-songwriters of her generation, Dar Williams has been engaging audiences with her musical artistry since the early 90s when she rose from the Northeast coffeehouse circuit to the national spotlight. A native of New York’s Hudson Valley, where she still resides, Williams maintains in her life and music a strong system of values, idealism and community involvement. Few performers create a bond from the stage with an audience like Williams does, because her songs succeed with storytelling “intimate, honest and whimsical travails and triumphs”.

Dan Bern | Special Guests: Stephen Kellogg & Anthony DaCosta (5/31)
A night to remember - Three of our favorite singer-songwriters in one great evening of music! With the release of his 1997 self-titled debut, Dan Bern became the latest, following the likes of John Prine, Elliott Murphy, Steve Forbert, Loudon Wainwright III, and numerous others, to wear the "new Dylan" mantle. Dan is featured with several songs in the comedy Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story. The evening will also feature Stephen Kellogg of Stephen Kellogg & the Sixers, in a rare solo-appearance. The Boston Globe writes "Kellogg's music is semi-gritty, melodic alt-country. Think early Wilco, Whiskeytown, or Tom Petty. Relaxed, yet passionate." First on the bill will be The Music Hall's favorite up and comer, Anthony DaCosta, who counts Dan Bern as one of his most important musical influences.

Dr John & The Lower 911 (6/28)
Legendary New Orleans pianist and singer Dr. John, "The Night Tripper" or Mac Rebennack as known to friends and family, is universally celebrated as the living embodiment of the rich musical heritage exclusive to New Orleans. A formidable boogie and blues pianist with a lovable growl of a voice, the good doctor fuses New Orleans R&B, rock, and Mardi Gras craziness to come up with his own brand of "voodoo" music. He is also a rock solid traditional blues and R&B performer. He'll be performing old favorites plus material from his new album "City That Care Forgot" which will be released June 3. Suzanne Vega (8/16) Suzanne Vega was the first major figure in the bumper crop of female singer/songwriters who rose to prominence during the late '80s and '90s. Her hushed, restrained folk-pop and highly literate lyrics laid the initial musical groundwork for what later became the trademark sound of Lilith Fair (a tour on which she was a regular). Moreover, her left-field hits "Luka" and "Tom's Diner" helped convince record companies that folk-styled singer/songwriters were not a thing of the past after all.
