Stars of the 60s return to Tarrytown - it’s like two concerts in one night with two of the biggest hit-makers from the greatest era of American music ever! In the entire history of rock and roll, only 9 bands have had more hits on Billboard’s Hot 100 than The Grass Roots. They charted 29 singles, 13 of which went gold followed by 2 gold albums and 1 platinum album.  For almost 50 years they have been one of the most recognized groups on Classic Rock stations across the country with over 20 million records sold worldwide.  Hits include “Midnight Confessions,” “Temptation Eyes,” “I’d Wait a Million Years,” “Live for Today,” “Sooner or Later,” and dozens more. Joining them will be The Association who have sold over 80 million records, tapes, CDs and DVDs, earning 6 gold and 3 platinum discs along with 7 Grammy Award nominations. “Windy,” “Cherish,” “Along Comes Mary,” “Never My Love” and “Everything That Touches You” receive almost as much airplay today as they ever have, and on Sunday, October 1st, you’ll get to hear them all live. Don’t miss this one-night-only reunion!
The nation was still recovering from the McCarthy era and the Cold War was heating up.  Peter Yarrow, Noel (Paul) Stookey and Mary Travers came together to reclaim folk's potency as a social, cultural and political force.  The Trio lived their songs. They sang at the 1963 March on Washington where Dr. Martin Luther King gave his "I Have a Dream" speech, they participated in the Selma to Montgomery March, they sang at countless anti-Vietnam War rallies and they launched decades of musical activism.  These individual and collective efforts addressed a wide range of issues from women's rights, to farm-worker rights to the environment, education and issues of gun violence. No American folk group lasted longer or amassed a more loyal following than Peter, Paul and Mary.  During their legendary career, the trio won five Grammy's, produced 13 top 40 hits of which six ascended into the top 10, and earned eight gold and five platinum albums.
