Rock The Hall is designed to celebrate and elevate emerging and well-deserving musicians from the region. Our judges, and prizes offer artists uplifting opportunities, including performance in front of a live audience, and a first-rate panel of industry professionals. The premise is a good-natured, fun-filled evening of fantastic music, camaraderie, and community-building. Rock The Hall is also a fundraiser to support our local historic landmark theater.

How to Enter Rock the Hall 2025
- The competition is open to bands who perform any musical genre.
- Bands at any stage of their musical pursuits may enter provided they are currently not signed to a major label.
- If any band member is under 18 years of age, they must provide written consent from a parent or guardian.
- Participating band members may not be employed by or related to any employee or sponsor of the Tarrytown Music Hall.
- Bands will perform at least 2 original songs. One cover is permitted but the band must make the song their “own.”
- Bands will perform no longer than a 15-minute set.
- Entrants must be able to perform their songs live. Pre-recorded tracks are not permitted.
Important Rock the Hall 2025 Competition Dates
- Entries are due by Midnight on August 1, 2025.
- Semifinalists will be notified of their acceptance into the live finals by August 15, 2025 .
- Bands must be available to perform live on September 6, 2025.

How to Enter Rock the Hall 2025
- To be considered, send mp3 recordings or web links to audio recordings for two original songs, each under 6 minutes in length, PLUS link to a video recording of a live performance, elisa@HearItThere.com.
- The following contact information must accompany your entry: Band’s Name, Email & Phone Number
- There is a $25 application fee. Pay on this page!
- By entering the competition, you’re assuring us that, if selected, your entire band will be available to perform on the evening of September 6th.
- We must receive your files or web links no later than August 1, 2025, at 11:59 pm.
- A screening committee will review all entries, select the finalists and notify all entrants of their decision by August 15, 2025.
