HOORAY FOR NEW WIRELESS MICROPHONES!!
Woo-hoo!! We reached our goal of $39,000 and were able to purchase 32 New Wireless Microphones for Music Hall Academy students!!!
The campaign started with Dean Gallea, a long-time Music Hall volunteer and supporter, who made a lead gift of $3000 a few months ago.
Thanks to a Dean Gallea; a generous donor who contributed a $10,000 matching gift; Music Hall Production Manager Emma Armus who administered the project and procured a vendor discount; and the incredible donors listed below, Every Child May Now Be Heard on the Music Hall's stage. Thousands of children this year and in years to come will have the special and wonderful opportunity to explore the performing arts with professional equipment at the nonprofit Music Hall Academy.
The 130 3rd-8th graders of Washington Irving and Sleepy Hollow Middle School, who participated in the Music Hall's Free School Theater Residencies of Willy Wonka Jr in January 2026, were the VERY FIRST students to use the new, state-of-the-art Wireless Microphones!
