CHOCOLATE, LOVE, PASSION ...
The Music Hall was built by chocolate manufacturer William Wallace in 1885 during Tarrytown's "Golden Age". It was rescued from the wrecking ball on Valentine's Day 1980 by The Friends of the Mozartina, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, educational, and cultural organization that is passionate about providing quality programs in the performing arts and preserving and restoring this national historic landmark. At the heart of its community, the Music Hall is the oldest theater in Westchester and one of the busiest in the region, offering the best in music, theater, dance and film to over 85,000 people - including 25,000 children - every year.
