Broken Arrow: A Musical Tribute to Neil Young (10/12)

Broken Arrow

A Music Hall/Music Without Borders Co-presentation
Broken Arrow performs the music of Neil Young, featuring both the rockin' electric Crazy Horse tunes and the more acoustic, pedal steel driven country rock material. The band delivers these classic songs faithfully while taking them out on some jamming excursions and tastefully tweaking some of the arrangements. Joe Mass nails the Neil vocals perfectly and the harmonies are spot on. Broken Arrow has audiences on their feet singing along and demanding encores at every show.

Los Lobos & Funky Feat (Feat. Original Members of Little Feat) (10/20)

Los Lobos & Funky Feat

A Music Hall/Music Without Borders Co-presentation
An evening of rock n' roll featuring two of the most celebrated bands of our time. Since 1974, East L.A.’s Los Lobos have been exploring the artistic and commercial possibilities of American biculturalism, moving back and forth between their Chicano roots and their love of American rock & roll. Although the band first gained fame as part of the early-Eighties roots-rock revival, they didn’t so much strip music down as mix it up, playing norteño, blues, country, Tex-Mex, ballads, folk, and rock. While often cited as one of the great bands of Latino Rock, Los Lobos’ eclectic sound in fact defined them as a vital example of America’s cultural melting pot. Three original members of Little Feat Paul Barrere (guitar, vocals), Fred Tackett (guitar) and Kenny Gradney (bass) are joined by long time Feat drummer Gabe Ford for a raucous evening of all the Little Feat hits like "Dixie Chicken," "Willin'," "Down On The Farm," "Feats Don't Fail Me Now" and so much more.

The Mavericks (10/25 & 10/26)

The Mavericks

A Music Hall/Music Without Borders Co-presentation
A Music Hall favorite returns once again! The Mavericks are back for a two night run, supporting their newest album Brand New Day.  The genre-defying Mavericks are declaring their independence and stepping out on their own with Brand New Day, the first studio album released on Mono Mundo Recordings, the label they founded in 2016. Brand New Day is the follow-up to the widely praised albums Mono (2015) and In Time (2013). Flashing the same exhilarating, beyond-category style that has defined the Mavericks, the new album introduces a collection of taut, energetic, economical songs sure to be embraced by both original fans of their top-10 albums and hit singles of the ‘90s and a new generation of listeners who have joined the party since their triumphant 2012 reunion. It is the mature and timely work of an exciting and underestimated American band that has embraced its own destiny. “This is the first studio record on our own label, and it is an important component in the band’s history,” Malo says, “but the real goal was just to make a great record.” The new collection – co-produced like its immediate predecessors by the band’s golden-voiced singer Raul Malo and Niko Bolas (Neil Young, Warren Zevon, Melissa Etheridge), who is partnered with the band in the new Mono Mundo imprint – features the core members of the group since their reformation: Malo, drummer Paul Deakin, guitarist Eddie Perez, and keyboardist Jerry Dale McFadden, along with auxiliary members “the Fantastic Four” filling out the set’s brawny sound with their signature accordion and horns.

A Music Hall/Music Without Borders Co-presentation
Special appreciation to NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital for their generous support
We are thrilled to welcome Air Supply back to the Music Hall! Australian soft rock duo with British-born singer-songwriter and guitarist Graham Russell and lead vocalist Russell Hitchcock are known for their heavily orchestrated sweet ballads. Special Guest: Naia Izumi
We are thrilled to welcome The Lone Bellow back to the Music Hall. “You’re cordially invited to the TRIIIO Tour. For some time now, we’ve done a mid-set performance around one microphone at our shows, and we’ve decided to make an entire night out of it. The three of us are embarking on a country-wide tour of acoustic shows in some of the most beautiful and intimate venues across the country. It will be an opportunity to try new arrangements of our entire repertoire, debut new and unrecorded songs, take requests, and hear more of Zach's unparalleled storytelling and Brian's incredible jokes. Also, Naia Izumi, this year's winner of NPR Music's Tiny Desk Contest, will be joining for the Northeast dates. Watch his Tiny Desk Concert. See you out there, Brian, Zach and Kanene”

The Make Comedy Great Again Tour (11/2)

The Make Comedy Great Again Tour

Presented by Stand-up Global
Truly GREAT comedy is funny, relevant and positive. It’s not comedy where every joke is about politics. It’s not comedy where every other word is profane. It’s not comedy where every bit needs to be politically correct. GREAT comedy is smart, well performed, laugh until hit hurts funny!
